What the first conversation is like
What you may be noticing

You talk less. Questions turn into tension, or you no longer know how to reach them. You want to help while respecting that they are finding their own voice.

The aim is not to fix your teen or ask them to meet someone else's expectations. It is to offer space for reflection with clear boundaries, consent and responsible family involvement.

Listening to their voice is also a way to care for the relationship.

How it works

Their own space, with a family that supports them.

  1. Explore identity and express their perspective
  2. Work on confidence and emotional awareness

Questions I get
How is confidentiality protected?
Individual conversations are confidential within legal and safety limits. Families learn about the process and general progress, rather than receiving reports of private conversations. When there is a risk of harm, abuse or another situation requiring intervention, the guardian is informed and the relevant protocols are followed.
How is the family involved?
Under 18, written consent from a parent or guardian is required. A family review takes place at the end of each phase, and relevant concerns can be shared during the process. At 18, a young person can request support personally.
Does this replace therapy?
No. Coaching does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions or replace family or school. Clinical needs, a crisis or immediate risk call for specialized professional care first. César will help direct you toward that care when appropriate.
